Trev's Dracula clone, developed by Trev Cox of Ireland in 2008 in the U.S., is a unique Venus flytrap known for its large blood-red traps and serrated 'vampire' like teeth. This clone was created through the crossbreeding of 'G14' with an unnamed 'dentate' trap and predates the Polish Dracula. Similar to its namesake, Trev's Dracula only displays its "teeth" seasonally, especially in the summertime, while the rest of the year it appears more "typical." It is a robust cultivar, with mostly low-growing leaves on long petioles, and it is officially registered with the ICPS.
