The "Polish Dracula" is a unique carnivorous plant cultivated by an unidentified grower in Poland. This stunning cultivar features shark-toothed traps with intense coloration, including an infamous banding on the outside lip. Its name is derived from its vampire-like teeth (cilia) and red, blood-like coloring along the outside lip. Interestingly, much like a vampire can retract and hide their fangs, the saw-toothed display of the Polish Dracula is seasonal, appearing most prominently during the summer. Its striking appearance and seasonal nature make it a captivating and mysterious addition to any collection of carnivorous plants.
