Kleopatra

The Dionaea muscipula "Kleopatra" is a prostrate plant with exceptionally large, oblong clam-shaped traps, similar to those of the "Alien" cultivar but with long thin teeth. This fan-favorite plant is loved for its unique trap shape morphology and the deep red color inside of the mouth. Originating from Diflora in Italy, this cultivar stands out for its striking features and is a popular choice among enthusiasts. Its distinct appearance and impressive trap design make it a standout addition to any collection of carnivorous plants.

NOTE: This Kleopatra falls within the Pharaoh series. There is another cultivar that I believe was established in the US with a bright red mouth and fused cilia that goes by the name of "Cleopatra" (with a "C").
