The "Green Wizard" Venus flytrap cultivar was discovered by Dutch horticulturalist Gert Hoogenstrijd with Araflora in the Netherlands. It is a unique mutation of the Venus flytrap with all-green color and short narrow teeth that resemble spikes. Despite its small size, this plant is a fast and efficient trap for small insects that wander into its territory. The entire plant is yellowish green, with the interior of the traps sometimes developing a faint pinkish color in strong light. The name "Green Wizard" doesn't refer to any specific trait of the plant but is an officially registered cultivar by ICPS. This special venus flytrap is a fascinating addition to any collection, showcasing the wonders of nature's diversity.
