In a world filled with numerous peculiar and mutated flytraps, "Chinese Dumpling" stands out as an absolute marvel. Once matured, the margins of its traps twist and contort, giving them a truly sinister appearance. These plants will even blush a deep red when exposed to strong light, a stunning contrast against their green petioles.

While young plants, as well as those with small or winter traps, may exhibit more typical characteristics, they too will eventually undergo mutations as they mature and experience warmer, sunnier months.
